Introduction

Wisdom Light is a Gospel-focused digital streaming platform created to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ while providing opportunities for Gospel artists, ministers, churches, and Christian creators to reach a wider audience. This Royalty & Monetization Policy explains how creators may earn revenue through the Wisdom Light platform and the rules governing creator payments.

Purpose

• ✦ Ensure transparency and fairness in creator payments.

Eligibility for Monetization

To qualify for royalty payments, a creator must:

• ✦ Have an approved Creator account.
• ✦ Own or control the rights to the uploaded content.
• ✦ Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to receive payments.
• ✦ Complete any required identity verification.
• ✦ Provide accurate payment information.
• ✦ Comply with all Wisdom Light policies.

Monetizable Content

Gospel music, Albums and EPs, Worship recordings, Sermons, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Christian educational content, Devotionals, and other approved Gospel-focused media. Not all uploaded content is automatically eligible for monetization.

Revenue Sources

Creator royalties may be funded through user subscriptions, premium memberships, advertising revenue (if introduced), sponsorships, donations, promotional campaigns, and other platform-approved revenue streams.

Royalty Allocation

Creator royalties are determined in accordance with the current Wisdom Light royalty program. Royalty calculations may be based on factors including eligible subscription revenue, advertising revenue (where applicable), listener engagement, content performance, promotional programs, and other approved revenue sources. Wisdom Light reserves the right to determine, modify, or update the royalty calculation methodology.

Royalty Calculation

Royalty payments may be calculated using eligible streams, valid listening time, listener engagement, subscription revenue, advertising revenue, promotional campaign participation, applicable taxes, payment processing fees, refunds and chargebacks, and other factors. Artificially generated streams, automated plays, bots, purchased streams, or any attempt to manipulate platform metrics will not be eligible.

Fraud Prevention

Prohibited activities: artificial streaming, automated plays, bots, purchased streams, click farms, multiple fake accounts, or any attempt to manipulate royalty calculations. Wisdom Light may remove affected streams, suspend payments, recover improperly paid amounts, or terminate accounts.

Payment Schedule

Payments will generally be processed on a monthly basis after the close of the applicable reporting period. A minimum payout threshold may apply before payments are issued. Processing times may vary depending on the selected payment provider.

Taxes

Creators are responsible for reporting income received through Wisdom Light and paying any applicable taxes, levies, duties, or government charges in their jurisdiction. Wisdom Light may withhold taxes where required by applicable law.

Payment Methods

Wisdom Light may support bank transfer, mobile money (where available), approved digital payment providers, and other payment methods announced by Wisdom Light.

Currency

Payments may be made in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or another supported currency, depending on the creator's location and available payment services. Currency conversion rates and payment provider fees may affect the amount received.

Reporting

Creators may have access to dashboards showing streams, listeners, estimated earnings, payment history, and content performance. Displayed estimates are informational and may differ from final payable amounts after verification.

Disputes

If a creator believes a payment contains an error, they should contact Wisdom Light within a reasonable period after receiving the payment statement. Wisdom Light will investigate reported issues in good faith.

Suspension of Payments

Wisdom Light may delay or suspend payments where ownership of content is disputed, fraud is suspected, identity verification is incomplete, payment information is inaccurate, or required legal or tax information has not been provided.

Changes to the Monetization Program

Wisdom Light may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue any monetization feature, payment program, royalty calculation method, eligibility requirement, or creator incentive program. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, email, or other appropriate channels.

No Guarantee of Income

Uploading content to Wisdom Light does not guarantee acceptance into the monetization program, a minimum number of streams, a minimum level of earnings, or continued availability of any specific monetization feature.

Acceptance

By participating in Wisdom Light's creator program, uploading monetizable content, or accepting Creator terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Royalty & Monetization Policy.
