Creator License

Purpose

Wisdom Light is a digital platform dedicated to distributing Gospel-centered content, including music, sermons, podcasts, devotionals, audiobooks, videos, and other faith-based media. This Agreement grants Wisdom Light permission to host and distribute your content while allowing you to retain ownership of your intellectual property.

Eligibility

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement, you own the content you upload or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and consents, and you have authority to grant the rights described in this Agreement.

Ownership

You retain full ownership of your copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property in your content. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of your content to Wisdom Light.

License Granted

You grant Wisdom Light a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable, royalty-bearing or royalty-free (depending on Wisdom Light's current monetization model), sublicensable only where reasonably necessary to operate the service, license to host your content, stream your content to users, store and back up your content, display artwork and metadata, promote your content within the platform, include your content in playlists and recommendations, and create short excerpts or previews solely for promotional purposes. This license exists only for the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Wisdom Light service.

Rights You Keep

• ✦ Upload your content to other streaming services.
• ✦ License your work to third parties.
• ✦ Perform your music publicly.
• ✦ Remove your content in accordance with this Agreement.

This is a non-exclusive agreement.

Artist Representations

You confirm that the content is original or properly licensed, you possess all required publishing rights, any featured performers have granted permission, any samples or third-party recordings have been legally cleared, album artwork is owned or licensed, and uploading the content does not violate any contract or applicable law.

Content Standards

Content submitted to Wisdom Light must not infringe another person's copyright or trademark, contain unlawful or deceptive material, include malware or malicious code, impersonate another person or ministry, or misrepresent authorship or ownership.

Metadata Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate information including song title, artist name, album name, genre, contributors, release year, copyright owner, and ISRC (if available). Knowingly providing false metadata may result in removal of content or suspension.

Promotional Use

You authorize Wisdom Light to use reasonable portions of your submitted content, artwork, name, biography, and approved promotional materials to advertise your content, promote Wisdom Light, and feature you in newsletters, social media, playlists, banners, and marketing campaigns. Wisdom Light will not imply your endorsement of unrelated products or services without your separate consent.

Royalties and Monetization

Where Wisdom Light does not currently operate a creator payment program, you acknowledge that uploads are made without royalty payments unless otherwise agreed in writing. If Wisdom Light introduces monetization or revenue sharing in the future, applicable terms will be communicated before taking effect.

Content Removal

You may request removal of your content by contacting Wisdom Light through the designated support channel. Wisdom Light will process valid removal requests within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days. Removal from Wisdom Light does not affect any licenses you have granted to other platforms.

Copyright Complaints

If Wisdom Light receives a credible copyright complaint regarding your content, we may temporarily disable access, request proof of ownership, remove the content, or suspend your Creator account while the matter is investigated. You agree to cooperate promptly in resolving ownership disputes.

Account Suspension or Termination

Wisdom Light may suspend or terminate your Creator account if you upload infringing content, commit repeated copyright violations, engage in fraud or deceptive practices, manipulate streams or platform metrics, or breach this Agreement or other platform policies.

Limitation of Liability

Wisdom Light provides its platform on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wisdom Light is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Wisdom Light harmless against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from breach of this Agreement, false ownership claims, copyright infringement caused by your uploaded content, or misrepresentation of your rights.

Changes to this Agreement

Wisdom Light may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, email, or other reasonable means before they take effect where required by law. Continued use of the Creator platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria unless the parties agree to another lawful dispute resolution process.
