Reflection
1 Timothy 4:13 — “Give attendance to reading..." Devotional Thought: God can give you an instruction, but you still need to learn the process of carrying it out. The teaching emphasizes that when God gives you a vision, you should study it. If you are going into business, learn about business. If you are building a career, develop yourself. If you are in ministry, study. Read books, manuals, journals, and materials that increase your understanding. The message strongly challenges us not to live without reading. If you want to get wisdom, read. REFLECTION Ask yourself honestly: How much time am I investing in learning? What area of your life are you trying to improve without actually studying it? You cannot expect knowledge in an area you refuse to learn. Today, choose one area where you need growth and commit yourself to learning about it. Instead of spending all your free time on entertainment or endless conversations, use some of that time to read something that will make you wiser. DECLARATION I am a learner. I will read, study, understand, and apply knowledge. I grow in wisdom and become better equipped for my assignment.
Prayer
Father, give me a hunger for knowledge and understanding. Help me become disciplined in reading and studying. Give me wisdom to learn the skills I need for the assignment You have given me.
