Reflection
Devotional Thought: Life is made up of stages and levels. As you move into a new level, you will encounter new responsibilities, new opportunities, and new challenges. This means you need fresh wisdom. The wisdom that worked yesterday may not be sufficient for today's assignment. The teaching gives us a powerful warning: Don't carry yesterday's wisdom into tomorrow's exploits. Every new level requires you to seek God again and ask, “Lord, what is the new way?” REFLECTION Think about the level you are currently entering. Maybe your responsibilities are increasing. Maybe God is opening a new opportunity. Maybe you are starting something new. Don't assume that because something worked before, it must automatically work again. Ask God for fresh wisdom. What worked yesterday may need to be adjusted today. What you learned in your previous season may prepare you for your next season, but you must still remain dependent on God. DECLARATION I receive greater wisdom for every new level. I will not be stranded. I will not depend only on yesterday's wisdom. God will give me fresh wisdom for fresh assignments.
Prayer
Father, thank You for every level You have brought me through. As You take me into new levels, give me greater wisdom, greater understanding, and greater access. Teach me how to handle every new responsibility and opportunity according to Your will.
