THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS

"And the LORD shall... bless all the work of thine hand "

Reflection

Devotional Thought: God blesses the work of your hands, but you must have something in your hands for Him to bless. Faith does not mean sitting down and doing nothing. While you trust God, you must also work. Having a shop does not automatically mean you are working. Having a business does not automatically mean the business will grow. You must make deliberate efforts to reach new customers, retain existing customers, improve your product, follow up, learn, adapt, and create opportunities. The baker must look for customers. The designer must promote his work. The hairstylist must reach people. The entrepreneur must build relationships. The employee must develop skills. Do not confuse having an opportunity with working the opportunity. Ask yourself: What am I doing with what God has placed in my hands? When you become diligent and intentional, you create something for God to breathe upon. REFLECTION What am I currently doing with the gifts, skills, opportunities, and resources God has given me? Where have I become passive? DECLARATION I reject laziness and passivity. I receive grace to work diligently and wisely. The works of my hands are blessed. I receive fresh ideas, creativity, opportunities, customers, connections, and wisdom. I will not sit idle when there is something I can do.
