"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
Reflection
Devotional Thought: Kingdom prosperity is much more than having money. It is God's desire for His children to experience wholeness in their spirit, soul, body, relationships, purpose, and finances. God wants you to prosper spiritually. He wants your mind to be healthy and productive. He wants you to be well physically and financially. True prosperity is therefore total well-being. We must reject the mindset that poverty, lack, and constant suffering are automatically signs that God is pleased with us. God is a loving Father. Just as an earthly parent desires to provide for and care for his children, God desires His children to live fruitful and meaningful lives. However, prosperity must be understood correctly. It is not simply having money. A person can have wealth and still lack peace, purpose, health, or a healthy relationship with God. True prosperity is having abundance without losing your soul. REFLECTION What areas of my life need to experience God's prosperity? Am I measuring prosperity only by money, or do I understand it as total well-being? DECLARATION I declare that I am God's workmanship and I am designed to prosper. My spirit, soul, body, finances, relationships, and purpose will flourish. I reject every mindset of limitation and lack. I walk in God's plan for my total well-being, in Jesus' name.
Prayer
Father, thank You because You desire that I prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers. Help me to understand prosperity according to Your Word. Heal every area of my life that needs restoration and bring me into the fullness of Your purpose for my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
