Scripture Reading
Psalm 112:2-3
"His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house."
Reflection
KEY NOTE God’s desire for prosperity is not simply about one individual. Psalm 112 speaks about the person who fears the Lord and delights in His commandments. It then connects that person’s life with the blessing of his descendants and his household. The sermon challenges us not to desire prosperity only for ourselves. Imagine being the only person doing well while everyone around you is struggling. Kingdom prosperity should produce a generous heart, not selfishness. Your progress should become an opportunity to help others progress. Your knowledge should help someone else. Your skills should create value. Your resources should become a blessing. REFLECTION Is my desire for prosperity only about me? God blesses us so that our lives can become a blessing to others. DECLARATION I am blessed to be a blessing. My prosperity will not end with me. My knowledge, skills, and resources will bring value to my family and others. My progress will create opportunities for others to progress.
Prayer
Father, bless my household and help me become a blessing. Give me wisdom to build a life that positively impacts my family and the people around me. Amen.
