Scripture Reading
Psalm 1:3
" .....And whatever he does shall prosper."
Reflection
KEY NOTE God is prosperous, but prosperity does not mean ignoring principles. A principle is a set law or order. When a principle is followed, its result follows. When it is broken, there are consequences. You cannot expect results while consistently violating the principles connected to those results. The sermon gives the example of gravity: you cannot jump from a dangerous height and expect prayer to cancel the law of gravity. You must respect the principle. The same applies spiritually. Many people claim God’s promises while ignoring God’s principles. They want the harvest without understanding the process. Don’t just claim the promise. Learn the principle. REFLECTION Am I only claiming God’s promises, or am I also following the principles that produce the results I desire? DECLARATION I will not be a believer who knows the promises but ignores the principles. I receive wisdom to understand and obey God’s principles.
Prayer
Lord, give me wisdom to recognise the principles that govern the areas of my life. Help me not to depend on wishes alone but to walk according to Your Word. Amen.
